Isn't Trieste that place with the strange history in the cold war that was handed over from Yugoslavia to Italy?
ReplyDeleteHave a good time in Vienna. It's one of my favourite cities -- Sacher Torte or something is the thing you must have.
I went there in 1989 and was glad of the translation into English of an item on a menu -- 'deep fried calves' brains' didn't sound so enticing in English as its mysterious Germanic description.
